What is IA and Disability Assistance Dental Coverage
The IA and Disability Assistance dental programs are provided by the Government of British Columbia to support individuals and families who qualify for financial assistance.
These programs focus on covering essential dental services to maintain oral health, relieve pain, and support basic function.
Coverage varies depending on age, eligibility, and approval requirements.
Coverage for Adults (19+)
For eligible adults, the program focuses primarily on basic and necessary care.
Commonly covered services include:

- Fillings for cavities
- Simple and surgical tooth extractions
- Selected root canal treatments
