Dr. Danny Tsai
DDS
Dr. Danny Tsai is a general dentist who was born and raised here in Vancouver. He attended New York University for his undergraduate studies before continuing to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at New York University’s College of Dentistry.
After graduation, Dr. Tsai also completed a general practice residency at New York Presbyterian Queens Hospital in Flushing, NY, where he received advanced training in comprehensive dental care, surgical procedures and emergency treatment.
Dr. Danny provides a full range of general dentistry services, including fillings, crowns and bridges, root canal treatment and extractions. Dr. Tsai knows that visiting the dentist can be an anxious experience for many people, and is committed to creating a comfortable and welcoming environment to make the experience as positive and stress-free as possible.
In his off time, Dr. Tsai enjoys reading, finding new bubble tea spots and spending time with his friends and family.
Dr. Janice Li
DDS
Dr. Janice Li is a general dentist dedicated to providing comprehensive, personalized care for patients of all ages. She earned her dental degree from the New York University College of Dentistry, where she graduated at the top of her class and was inducted into the prestigious OKU Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Li takes time to understand each patient’s goals and concerns, then builds treatment plans tailored to their long-term oral health. She works hard to ensure every visit feels comfortable, unhurried, and genuinely positive.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Li is either busy with an arts and crafts project or playing with her young daughter.
Dr. Stella Ge
DMD
Dr. Stella Ge believes great dental care starts with making people feel at ease. Born in Guangzhou, China, she speaks fluent English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, and loves that her patients can ask questions in whichever language feels most like home. She earned both her Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science and her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degrees from UBC, and her science background shows in her careful, thorough approach — but what patients remember most is her warmth, patience, and willingness to go the extra mile.
When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll find Dr. Ge at the table tennis table, trying new recipes in the kitchen, or out in her garden watching things grow.

Dr .Liao graduated from Taipei Medical University in 2015. She is passionate about cosmetic dentistry and advanced restorative techniques. She has attended advanced international courses in many countries, and she became a member of the Taiwan Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry and the Taiwan Academy of Microscopes-enhanced Aesthetic Dentistry.
Dr. Liao is well versed in advanced microscope restorative techniques and root canal therpay, which makes precise treatment not only possible but also the standard. She also has a great sense of the needs of cosmetic dentistry and is well experienced in digital workflow for smile design. Her passion in continuing her dental education keeps both her skill and knowledge at the forefront of dental care.
Dr. Andrew Tsai
DMD MSD FRCD(C), Certified Specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics
Born in Taipei, Taiwan and raised in beautiful Vancouver, BC, Dr. Andrew Tsai grew up inspired by his parents’ love for dentistry and the impact it had on helping others. He graduated from the prestigious Seven-Year Bio-Dental Program at the University of Pennsylvania, earning both his undergraduate and DMD degrees. Dr. Andrew then pursued advanced specialty training in Orthodontics at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, one of the leading programs in the world for clear aligner treatment.
Dr. Andrew Tsai is a Certified Specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, and he is committed to providing excellent orthodontic care to his patients. Having completed the highest levels of certification within the profession, Dr. Andrew Tsai has the rare distinction of being both a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics. He offers the latest treatment options including clear aligners, traditional braces, and early interceptive orthodontic treatment. Outside the office, you’ll find Dr. Andrew exploring hiking trails, discovering new restaurants, or working on his golf game. Dr. Lo-Lin Tsai graduated dental school in 2000, completed the 3-year-period oral maxillofacial surgery training at Taiwan’s top medical center, and became the youngest oral maxillofacial surgery specialist in Taiwan’s history. Over the years, he has strived to make progress in his career and in the field of dentistry as a whole. In 2014, Dr. Tsai was promoted to be an associate professor at dental school, and he was also honored as an instructor of PhD students in 2017.
Dr. Tsai is renowned for his superb surgical skill. To this day, Dr. Tsai has executed more than 20,000 cases of wisdom teeth extraction and over 5,000 cases of dental implant surgeries. Dr. Tsai was also the pioneering surgeon of All-on-4 zygoma implant full arch reconstruction in Taiwan in 2012. With extraordinary achievement in clinical practice, he immigrated to Canada in 2015 and passed the National Dental Examining Board of Canada. Now, he is committed to providing exceptional service and care for his patients in Taiwan and Metro Vancouver alike.
DMD, FRCD(C)- Certified Specialist in Endodontics
Dr. Sha graduated from The University of British Columbia 2007 and completed his Specialist training in Endodontics at The Temple University in 2010. Alongside being a Certified Endodontic Specialist, Dr Sha is a Fellow member of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, providing expert endodontic care to patients across British Columbia.
Dr. Sha is known for his calm, reassuring manner and meticulous attention to detail. He understands that many patients feel anxious about endodontic treatment and takes the time to listen, explain procedures clearly, and ensure each patient feels comfortable and confident in their care. His commitment to clinical excellence, combined with a gentle and compassionate approach, allows patients to feel at ease throughout their visit.
Outside the office, Dr. Sha enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two boys. He enjoys playing sports with his kids and attending their games to cheer them on! Dr. Sha loves traveling with his family. He’s a true coffee enthusiast and always enjoys sharing a sweet treat with the team.
Periodontist
Dr. Vera Telyakova earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Toronto and practiced as a general dentist for eight years before pursuing advanced specialty training in Periodontics at the University of British Columbia (UBC).
She has completed the clinical and academic requirements for the Diploma in Periodontics and is an MSc candidate at UBC. Dr. Telyakova has served as a clinical instructor at both the University of Toronto and the University of British Columbia, teaching undergraduate dental students.
Her clinical interests include periodontal disease treatment, soft tissue grafting, regenerative procedures, dental implant surgery, bone grafting, sinus augmentation, and a wide range of periodontal surgical procedures. She routinely performs surgery using 10× magnification and has a special interest in minimally invasive and microsurgical techniques to enhance precision, optimize healing, and improve patient outcomes. Her research focuses on the evaluation of the nasopharynx on cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT).
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Telyakova enjoys fitness, cycling, and realist art. She is committed to providing evidence-based, patient-centred periodontal and implant care while collaborating closely with referring dentists to achieve the best outcomes for her patients.

Dr. Marjorie Tsai has spent her career helping people smile with confidence, and she brings that same warmth to every patient who sits in her chair. She graduated from Taipei Medical University and went on to complete three years of advanced orthodontic specialty training at the University of Hong Kong, Faculty of Dentistry. Today she’s licensed to practice in three places close to her heart: Canada, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
When she’s not in the practice, you’ll likely find Dr. Tsai lacing up her running shoes. She’s a passionate marathoner chasing all eight majors one finish line at a time, and she competes in triathlons with her daughters. The rest of her time is happily spent with her husband, their two daughters, and the family’s beloved shiba inu, Rocky.

Dr. Joyce Wu graduated from National Yang-Ming Medical University in Taipei, Taiwan in 1992 and completed her general dentistry training at Taipei Veteran General Hospital. During her time at VGHTPE, she mastered her clinical dentistry skills and became a certified clinical instructor at the VGHTPE Faculty of Dentistry.
Dr. Wu immigrated to Canada in 1997, bringing with her an extensive skill set in general dentistry. She passed the Canadian National Dental Examining Board soon after. As one of the few dentists certified in both Taiwan and Canada, Dr. Wu has since established her reputation in Vancouver through considerate care and exceptional clinical skills. For the past 25 years, “Joyce Wu Dental” has become the first choice of many patients in Metro Vancouver, with her patient loyalty transcending the physical distance of her offices.
